A few good questions.

What can I upload?

Use a .fountain or .txt screenplay, or paste plain text. Put character names in uppercase above their dialogue. Readings support up to 400 dialogue cues and 24 speaking characters; split longer scripts into sections. PDF and Final Draft files are not supported yet.

How do the voices work?

Device speech is the browser preview in the sample. It is not a saved reading. Demo mode saves placeholder tones when no voice service is connected. Saved speech uses the voice service you choose. You’ll see which one you will receive before you generate or play.

Who can listen to my screenplay?

Your drafts and readings start private. Enable link sharing when you are ready; anyone with that link can listen without an account and can forward it. Turn sharing off at any time to stop new access.

What does a reading cost?

Exploring the sample and creating scripts is free. Hosted voices bill by what they read, and you see the estimate before you generate. Self-hosted connections use your own service.
